I have an Albion three speed gearbox styled similar to those fitted to the Excelsior Talisman, but only three speed. thus i think it is off an Excelsior Courier.
Would you be interested in buying it?

Talisman 250 twin i had in1959 had a 3 speed gearbox,not sure if this was standard.
