The Bristol Classic Motorcycle Show is almost as old as the International though and, despite the name, is held near Shepton Mallet rather than in the Bristol Dockland Warehouse where it originated. Naturally given the time of year most of the action happens inside and well away from any possibility of snow and wet. This year the event will feature M&D and EK 60, the Diamond Jubilee of the M&D and East Kent Bus Club with special displays celebrating 50 years of the MGB Roadster, 50 years of the Massey Ferguson 35X and 100 years of AEC. | 8 April 2012 | Easter Sunday Classic Bike Rally | Castlecroft yard, Bury transport museum, Bury, Lancs | Once again the East Lancashire railway will be hosting its annual Easter Sunday Classic Bike rally on Sunday 8th April. Once again each rider and one pillion passenger will receive free travel on our heritage steam and diesel trains. This year will is asking that all entrants complete a booking form and also we are imposing a cut off for entrants. Only bikes registered up to and including 1980 will quality for exhibiting and free train travel. Alternative parking for visitors will be available at Bolton street station and on street parking(Where permitted). However why not take the train and park at Heywood, Ramsbottom or Rawtenstall stations.! | 28 29 April 2012 | The 32nd Carole Nash International Classic Motorcycle Show | Stafford County Showground | The International Classic Motorcycle Show is very much a traditional classic show that attracts the best from around the world. There are club stands, trade stands, private entries and a massive autojumble that fills several of the halls and outside field at the Stafford County Showground. It is always a great draw for the enthusiast and last year over 30,000 people flocked to the showground, will you be one of them this year? Bonhams Auctioneers & Valuers always run a classic auction on Sunday, viewing on Saturday. Car parking is FREE for the duration of the weekend to visitors.
