1950s BSA A10 Shooting Star Pictures

A lovely picture of a BSA Shooting Star submitted by Garry Laurence. The Shooting star was found in a shed in a poor state of repair. The previous owner had (as so often is the case) started but gave up on the restoration. Garry completely stripped the bike which was incomplete and started again. Unfortunately parts were missing and so he put Gold Star mudguards on etc, but he think it works – and I agree with him. The tank had had the chrome stripped so he painted it and with the black badges etc it looks right. The whole machine is now brand new with everything replaced or overhauled. It took Garry three months to complete.
