Thanks to P.Y. Surette of Canada for this picture of his bike.  "It is a 79 Goldwing with a New seat, Ducati handlebars, the only ones I could find that would not foul the gauge cluster, stock Harley Sportster pipes, new fenders and round signal lights (’79 had ugly square lights). A new water pump is the solitary repair performed on this Little Wing Special since I have owned it, going on 8 years now. 80,000 kilometers on the clock. Push the starter button and away you go, every time. Runs great, even has respectable acceleration when you get it on cam at around 5000 rpm. The extremely powerful headlight sends the wind just over the top of my helmet, zero buffeting until I reach the ton mark and then there’s a bit of a draft, for sure."

    Hello
Owned one from new, from Ontario Homda. had it for 20 years.
Amazing machine still miss it. Had it up to 200km once!

  4. Very, very nice! I currently own a ’78 GL1000, and a lot of the inspiration for my build has come from this photo.
