Thanks Jim Konkel for this picture of his 1970 Triumph TR6 Tiger. "I have kept it pretty much in original/stock condition. The only variations are the chromed tool box and oil tank and the "funky" handlebars. I did retain the original oil tank in case I ever wanted to put it back to completely original condition. The tires are even the Dunlop K70 original design. The bike has always been shiny side up, never dumped or dropped. The paint is the original "Spring Gold", never repainted. The only thing I would really like to restore is the "Triumph" logo on the seat. It’s only got about 12,500 original miles on it. It’s fast, dependable and doesn’t leak or burn oil. It doesn’t vibrate like I have heard some older Triumphs are notorious for. It’s a real dream to ride, and when the weather is good I do just that."
