Thanks to Dave for this picture of his 1966 Saint.  This was a 650cc model made for the police and christened the Saint as it could “Stop Anything In No Time”.

  1. I had one in 1970 Reg GPX 8 C . Bought in Lewes ,I was the first civvy owner. I saw it on the road in Hailsham ( sussex) in the 80`s – well I heard it first. lol. I`ve often wondered if it`s still around in some form .

    I bought an ex Police Saint from a dealers in Stratford in the 70s, reg GPX 9 C, I had it for about 4 years till it was pinched by a stupid 14 year old who managed to crash into a Lotus at 90MPH, it killed him, however that is another story. The parents were not bothered about it what so ever. The bike came from Brighton Police Force.
