Thanks to Harry Nixon for these pictures of his bike.

“This is my 66 BSA  Hornet.

This BSA was a “bike  legend” in Southeast Ohio, gravel roads, hill climbs, flat tracks, street racing, it was there.

Purchased this from collector Bob Nielson, to hear the sound, feel the power and see the beauty of BSA.

BSA riding legends in our area were Earl Bowlby, Wayne Dixon, Chuck Robinette just to name a few.

This bike turned boys into men.”

One Response to “1966 BSA A65 Hornet”

  1. I had a Hornet in 66. It was the fastest bike of it’s size and type anywhere around. I loved to destroy the feelings of the 396, 427 426 muscle car owners in 0-60. My favorite of all time, geraldqwilson@yahoo.com
