A rather rare Tohatsu 106Y, 125cc twin racer at the Stafford Show in October 2010.

Tohatsu were formed in 1922, making two stroke engines and water pumps for the Japanese Imperial Army.  After the war, they branched out into boat engines, rail engines and motorcycles.  In 1955 they were the leading Japanese motorcycle manufacturer, making more than double the amount that Honda were producing.  The motorcycle side of the business went bankrupt in 1964.
