Gilera 124 Extra in its original state , not subjected to any restore process. After 33 years in a garage I just put a new battery on it and the engine started to work properly !! Amazing !!
I just had to replace the speedometer wire and the horn and now it is ready to return on the road .

I owned one of these Gilera bikes in the 1960′s. I bought it from a shop in Long Beach, California. It was a fun bike and the only Gilera motorcycle I ever saw in California. I liked the bike but it was quite heavy and needed a bigger displacement engine for the frame size and weight. My buddies drove Hondas and Yamahas, although one of my friends did own a Montessa.

  2. Hi,

Do you by any chance have a wiring diagram for the bike? I have the 175 and struggling to rewire the fuse board in the head light unit???
