1962 BSA A65 Star Pictures

Thanks to Howard Dawson for these pictures.  "Here are a couple of photos of my 1962 A65, it is the 62nd bike produced – believed to be probably built on the first day of production. Frame and engine are the originals but rebuilt, engine back to standard bore now with 10 to 1 pistons and fully balanced throughout. All other parts have been rebuilt, rechromed, repainted or renewed. I have made it look more like an early Lightning, but with a single carb. It has been a 10 year ‘rolling restoration with the final stages done over the last 18 months. It was deep red (maroon) but is now ‘candy’ green over silver, all work including spraying done by myself (except for engine machining and wheel rebuilding) The other bike is my new Bonneville with ‘private’ TROOMPH plate!"
