Many thanks to Tim Gladdis for these pictures of his Connie. Here are his words:

More Cheese Grommet
1959 Royal Enfield 700cc Constellation with a Garrard Child/Adult GP sidecar.
Let me tell you about my motorbike and sidecar, she was owned by my stepfather in-law for twenty-seven years and I’ve now had her for twelve, the first time that she was restored she went back to as original as possible using as much as I could, in the end I think offhand all that was not original was the paint, main bearings, big end shells, the wiring loom, tyres and other miner consumables, otherwise she was very much like she left the factory back in 1959, this was how she was for about five years on the road with the sidecar added in her second year, this time around I rebuilt her how I wanted her to be, new petrol tank, stainless mudguards, stainless handlebars, stainless exhaust system, new belt drive kit and clutch in the primary, twelve volt electrics and loads more of personal touches to improve her for modern every day usage, all the year round, all weather’s and she’s a flyer!
