This one really caught my eye at the Stafford show in 2011. It is believed that the bike was converted for road racing in the 1970s and converted back for road use in the 1990s. The previous owner seized the engine and gave up… But in its new ownership it has certainly come back to life!

Took my driving test on a 500cc matchless twin port.
All the usual stuff like manual advance and retard on the handle bars max speed of 56 mph.
Heavy as lead but I did like it as it was my first real bike.

From then on had BSA’s from the A10 to the Road Rocket, Gold Flash and the last one was the Rocket III with the 3 widgets from the exhaust.

I now ride a Yamaha Dragstar XVS A which I bought while working in Japan in ’99.
Love it and keep it in the garage and only comes out for a service and a sunny day ride.

    Can’t wait for the summer.

Any one got a 1958-63 T21 they want to sell ?
