1948 Excelsior Autobyk Pictures

This machine was used first by air raid wardens and district nurses during the second world war. But the bike continued to be built until the mid 1950s as it was very frugal on fuel – 120 miles per gallon. This machine was in a terrible state when I found it 3 years ago but it is know nearing completion.

  2. Great picture, just got one of these from a garage sale ,its ok but would like info on where is the best place to get parts.
    This is the first one of these I have done, so any help would be appreciated .I have the user manual with it.
