Thanks to Theo Schipper for these pictures of his 1940 BSA Silver Star – in very original condition. The only parts restored by Theo were the gearbox and the petrol tank which had been painted silver. But he was able to remove the paint to take it back to the original chrome – included the pin-striping. Theo has no intention of any further restoration, just to ride it – and who can blame him!
