Home built TT replica with International, KTT, Manxman and Ulster inspiration. Many things have been changed, frame has been shortened to give better steering, many steel items are either removed, bored out are replaced by aluminum (empty weight is a mere 128kg); compression ratio is 7:1 (instead of standard 6:1), large inlet valve, flowed head, 1 3/16 TT carb, home made titanium valve spring cups (half the weight of steel ones!), titanium pushrods, rockers adapted, overlap cam shaft, new BTH electronic ignition (no battery nor magneto needed), high ratio gearbox (original 1929) etc. etc. Sounds like a roaring lion standing right next to you.

And low and behold – now what have you got ????

  2. Absolutely love the bike.
Did you make many of the parts yourself ?

Doing up a 1929 Ariel of my own at the moment – nearly there.
Stock standard, although a few slight alterations for modern riding.

Hopefully one day it will be to the standard of this bike.

Thanks for your comments Richard. Made most of the parts myself, takes a lot of time ….. I was also very pleased with the result, but unfortunately, it is not suitable for driving on normals roads, you have to keep it high in the rev’s constantly. I sold it to a guy who wants to race it: only third gear and 5000rpm constantly…….

      Paul
