This bike had a two speed gearbox operated by a hand lever. There was a manual oil pump which had to be given a squirt or two (when I remembered) and it had a belt and belt-rim final drive with chain primary. There were foot-boards instead of footrests and the front brake was bicycle type operating on the wheel-rim while the rear brake had a large block which clunked into the belt rim when applied. Both were mere token gestures when it rained but even so, I did manage to complete the Coventry to Brighton run one year whilst praying for a dry day all the way. I got there o.k. and, to be fair, it was quite a surprisingly enjoyable bike to ride..
