1913 Yale Pictures

Many thanks to Larry Richardson for this picture.  Can anyone help with its identification?

I have been searching for the identity of this cycle and I think it might be a 1913 Yale. The pedal crank on the left is the mystery part though,but the seat springs,front end and lower engine case are familiar. Larry

The bike is a Yale, built by the Consolidated manufacturing Company in Toledo, Ohio. I’m not sure of the exact date, but the 1915 model (the last!) looks pretty similar except for the exhaust which is a little different. Perhaps your grandfather’s bike is a year or two earlier, but hard to say exactly with so much of it covered up in the photo
