1905 Coventry Challenge Pictures

I attach a photo of a Real Coventy Challenge bike. We have had it for over 40 years and I beleive it is the only one of its make in the world. It was dated many years ago as circa 1905.

The thing that amazes me is how did such a rare make of machine find its way to Tasmania in around 1905. We got the bike in 1971 from a fellow who got it from the original owner’s widow in Hobart Tasmania in about 1966. As you can see it was and is in basically original condition. I rode it in many events for several years but have not got the light pedal assistance to start it now, Cheers Dean.
