Royal Enfield Constellation Pictures
The Royal Enfield Constellation was built by the Enfield Cycle Company from 1949 to 1963. This model was one of many to be built which included the Twins, Meteors, and the Super Meteors.
The solid performance and the affordable price tag resulted in a widely selling motorcycle with a strong reputation. The 700 cc motorcycle had been described as the first Superbike.
In 1956, the Indian branch of Enfield began manufacturing Bullet motorcycles and by 1995 had bought the Royal Enfield namesake.
Although the Royal Enfield Constellation ran its course, the Royal Enfield name is the oldest brand still in production.
