>BSA A10

The BSA A10, or the Golden Flash, was a motorcycle created by the Birmingham Small Arms Company from 1950 to 1961. The earlier models were equipped with either no rear suspension or plungers.

With improvements came a better engine and more rigid frame and suspension. The golden paint job and proven reliability made the machine highly marketable in the United States while prolonging the wait for the motorcycle in the UK.

The bike could reach speeds of over 100 mph and was a success in the marketing campaigns. The Golden Flash was a prime competitor against the shiny, red Speed Twin and the popular Triumph 6T Thunderbird.
