What a fantastic piece of engineering!  It’s a Norton Imp – sent in by Frank Barlow.  It is: a 1958 Wideline Norton Dominator frame, Roadholder forks 1960′s Hillman Imp engine with rally cams and a ported head Norton MkIII Gearbox converted to RH change Brakes.. front early TZ500 Yamaha Double sided twin leading shoe, rear conical hub drilled out Manx style Seat by Tony Archer on a Unity Equip base Cycle parts by unity Equip Exhausts by Paul Wilkinson at Diverse Motorcycles This superb beast was built by Mick Cauldron and Frank Barlow

  1. A friend of mine built a bike very similar to this in the early 70s in Northwich, Cheshire UK. He sold it on I believe before he emigrated to Australia in about 1980.
