1971 BSA A65 Thunderbolt/Spitfire Special Pictures

I liked the look of a 60′s BSA 650 Hornet so I tried to use that image to improve upon the much maligned oil-in-frame BSA A65. I built up a 1971 Lightning frame, Thunderbolt cases, balanced and blueprinted crank, 1966 Spitfire barrel, head and Amal GP carbs with foam air filters. The Tank Shop built me an alloy Hornet tank to fit the oil-in-frame large top tube. The seat is a modified A65 seat. It has a BSA B50MX front wheel assembly with Dunlop 952 Knobby tires.

Many thanks to Ron Rault for this picture.
