Very rare T120RT 750cc of which only 204 were homologated in the US. Triumph had to sell over 200 machines in order for them to be eligible to race in the AMA production series events. This machine still bares the original owners/service detail label under the seat.

Many thanks to John Moore for these pictures of his 1970 Bonneville.  I haven’t seen this model before – very interesting, and looks in great condition!

  1. Love this bike. I have the Honda 1970 version. CB 350 Scrambled

  2. I have a 1968 Bonneville that I am in love with but if I found one of these I’d take it in a New York minute. Love is strange but that Bike is BEAUTIFUL !!

    • The bike has been authenticted by the AMA museum who hold all the serial numbers of the 202 machines. Quite a lot of information can be found on the web about this model which is very useful when buying one, that is if one becomes available. Beware of fakes and know what to look for to spot one.
Although genuine it was in a very poor state mechanically. The whole bike has been rebuilt to as new using most of the original parts.

  3. Dad bought a 1970 t120rt from Hartman Triumph in Hatboro Pa .Brand new. I was a 19 yr old freshman home for summer. Rejetted the twin amals and put a set of tt pipes on.Gas was potent and cheap. What a ride !!!
