A very rare 1962 Norton 500cc OHV RAC outfit. This bike was the last one to be used in scotland by the RAC.  There are not many left – the only other one is in the National Motor Cycle Musuem.

I have a 1960 Norton Feathered Es2 – do you know how many of these Es2 combinations in total were used by the RAC after the War up to when they were finally retired in the early 1960,s. Thanks Lionel

I’m in n Ireland nd also own a similar combo that I restored 2 yrs ago in memory of my late father who lost a leg due to an accident whilst on patrol. He bought the outfit ,not the one in the accident incidentally,in Larne in the late sixties. This es2 had a 350 engine which I substituted with a 500 .
