1956 Triumph Trophy TR5 Pictures

Thanks to John Boswell of Salisbury for this picture of his cracking bike.  It’s a 1956 TR5 that was bought as a basket case. The engine was found to be totally bottom end wrecked, but he managed to find an earlier TR5 crankcase and crank. It has been rebuilt with resleeved hard valve seats.  All paintwork has been shot blasted and powder coated.  He has also fited an air scoop front brake plate out of personal preference. It won best at Triumph show at Isle of Man 1999 and also at many local shows and fetes. I’m not surprised, are you? You can also see John’s other bike here.
