IRON HEAD GOLD STAR,THESE ENGINES WERE USED FOR SAND RACING OR SO I WAS TOLD BY A BSA VALUE ASSESOR,EVERY THING WORKS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ORIGINAL HORN,THERE ARE NO INSIDES TO IT,AND THE REV COUNTER ,AS THE INNER CABLE IS MISSING,IVE OWNED THIS BIKE FOR FOUR YEARS AND HAVE MADE IT AN ONGOING RENOVATION,ITS A PLEASURE TO RIDE ON SHORT RUNS AND ALWAYS TURNS HEADS.

Many thanks to Tony for these pictures.

Had one of these when I was executive editor of Motorcycle Mechanics. Loved the machine….was one of the best I ever owned.
