    From South Africa
In 1967 I sold my Puch 175SV for R15 = $7.5 as I was only 15yr old and couldn’t get a license until I was 18. But at the same time a friend of mine his older brother needed money and I bought his old (1936) Ariel Red Hunter VH500 Twin Port for R10 = $5. I was a real little chit and I was chasing up and down the street where we live at 80mph and then throw the advance/retard switch which naturally caused a series of tremendous backfires. In the end when I turned seventeen the police come and warned my father that if they get any more complaints that they’l have to lock me up. My father then forced me to sell the bike which I sold back to the original guy for R100.
It would be worth R200,000.00 today Nov. 2017
