My first and only motorcycle was an ancient Coventy Eagle very like this one which my father bought for me around 1959. IThe only obvious difference is the headlamp was much smaller on my bike. It was a 250cc 2-stroke, I think. After searching the Internet, this this the only bike remotely like it. In fact it is very similar, I would say, down to the frame and the gear change, which appear identical.

    Hi

It looks very similar to my bike, suspected to be a 1929 172cc twin port Villiers Silent Superb, which I bought in bits as a partly restored bike.
Most of yours looks the same other than the engine and gear change linkage.
I would be happy to share images with any other owners, it might help my quest to finish my restoration and it might help others.

    Simmo.
