1951 Triumph Trophy Pictures

This gorgeous bike won Best Private Entry at the 2005 Bristol Classic Bike Show.  It’s the first 650cc Trophy produced by Triumph and was prepared for the International Six Days Trial held at Varsese in Italy.  Ridden by Jim Alves, who with Rob Ray (Ariel), Hugh Viney (AJS), Fred Rist (BSA) and Jack Stocker (Royal Enfield) won the International Trophy, the premier award of the ISDT for Great Britain. Jim on this bikes, along with Burt Gayner on LNX 351 and Peter Hammond on LNX 341 (both 498cc) won Gold Medals and picked up the manufacturers award for Triumph.
