Thanks to Jan K.T. of Las Palmas for this picture of his 1951 Nimbus model C – the only one in the Canary Islands. Made in Denmark from 1934 and 25 years onwards. 22 hp 746 cc 4 cyl in-line motor with one OHC, exposed valves for better cooling, 3-speed gearbox and shaft drive. Weight about 185 kgs and top speed (short term) 120 km/h. Cruising speed 80 – 90 km/h. About 12000 Nimbus "C" were manufactured of which probably 3000 are still in use by enthusiasts around the world.
