1942 Triumph BD250W Pictures

Thanks to Bernie Stevens for this picture of his Triumph BD250W 1942. 1,000 of these were sold in civilian form,but the next 12,000 went into the Wehrmacht. When it came out in 1939, it was the fastest 250 in Germany, a split/single two/stroke.  It quickly earned the name of ‘STECKLESWEIN’ which translates into prickly pig (hence the choice of Bernie’s background!)
