1930 Ariel Model F Pictures

Thanks to Edoardo Re of Milan for these pictures of his bike. And also thanks to Dave Barkshire for identifying it as a 1930 season model F (500cc OHV).

The features that led Dave to this conclusion are:

  • The gear change, tank & headlamp differentiate it from a 29 model

  • The paint scheme and left hand rear brake differentiate it from a 31 model
  • The Burman Q gearbox and the touring mudguards make it a model F

    Apart from a few things like the silencers and toolbox it looks fairly original.
