1928 AJS K8 500cc OHV Pictures

Here are three fantastic pictures sent to me by Lars Eriksson of Sweden. They show his bike (a 1928 AJS K8 500cc OHV). The first photo was taken in 1928 and shows the bike’s first proud owner Sten Gustavsson and his friend Gustav Hjelm showing their new AJS 500 cc K8´s to the photographer The second photo was taken in 1930 and shows Sten Gustavsson stopping for a rest on his ride from Jarna to Nykvarn. Is that a beer in his hand?? The original photo is owned by Sten’s daughter, who kindly let Lars scan it and send it in. The bike was bought by Lars from the gentleman in the photo in 1980 and is still in use. The final picture shows the bike today!
