This is a four cylinder side valve of 1300 cc capacity (recently increased to 1330cc with Triumph pistons) with three forward speeds and a car type foot clutch. Final drive is by chain, no front brake and a second rear brake for parking. The parking brake and the ability to fit reverse gears is for use when a sidecar is fitted!
