Very clear in my memory was Snetteron
on my Norton engine outfit and Peter (I did not call him Pip) on his BMW engined outfit. He finished 1st and I finished 2nd in both the 500cc and 1000cc races.I had a good start in the 500cc race and lead until the last lap and Peter powered pass me in the Norwich straight. He was somebody I only met at the race circuits but you could almost say we were a family. I only resently heard that he had passed on. He was a great guy one of the best and I will always remember him Ben Gross
