Model: Nothing to see so we can’t say, but surely M30 or M40 Norton.
Engine: Either 350 or 500 Norton.
Year: Sadly for James, and for all of us 1937 was to be his last year. Killed in the German GP, it remains a fact that throughout my life, I have been a devoted fan, even tho’ he died years before I was born. I met his son J Jnr when he raced and Jimmie’s widow.. in the 60′s and later.
Happily, I also met his friend and nemesis.. S. Woods.. many times. Another hero..
