Zl900, 1986, american import of about 250 I believe. An awsome cruiser in its day, still can hold its own off the lights.

Those were the days. Had an 85′, the first year for the ZL900 Eliminator, 86 was the last year,
they did however make a ZL1000, not sure but I think they only built them in 87. I was out of
town working for the week and when I got home on Friday night the bike was in the garage,
my girlfriend at the time bought it for me. I ended up asking her to marry me on the bike
one day a year or so later. I loved the bike, o to 60 it was pretty bad ass, had a D&D pipe,
other than that pretty much stock. Didn’t corner for crap and was quite heavy. Had a lot of
fun on it.Kinda funny how things change, don’t have the bike and got divorced. I had good
rides on both,I guess weight was an issue with the bike and the chick. Got a ZX9 after that and put about 20,000 miles on that badboy.
