More from Bill Ferry:
I should have mentioned that the main reason Ken took on the restoration was that the bike was first registered in Carlisle and had remained in the area until he found it. The bike was supplied originally by the Velo dealer and TT entrant, Billy Tiffen, who Ken knew well. as a Velo man, these are all good reasons for putting the bike back in good order. It really is a cracker.

The Mac shown here belongs to Ken Foster of Taunton. Ken is from Carlisle originally and whilst visiting family there, found this bike in bits in a very poor state. The restoration has been beautifully done, the bike is just about as nice as one could hope to see. I don't think it would have left the factory as smart as it is today.
