Hi Mike,

Dad loved both his 200 VS and his RT 350 very much, sadly he passed away in May 2018. If you would still be interested in buying this bike from him then please contact me via email or call me on 07840 326898 as his collection will be sold on once my Sister and I have been granted probate. None of his bikes have been touched for 4-5 years now and are stored away under blankets and duvets and all kinds of things to preserve them. They still look amazing and it's sad that due to dementia mainly that Dad lost interest in them and never got to ride or work on them for the final years of his life.

I got my first Deek in 1959 as most did ,mine came from Pride and Clarke, it was £95.17/6. I borrowed the money from my Dad, That began my love affair with Bikes, I bought several more RT200VS over the years, I got 2 of them in as perfect condition as possible and with my brother took them on a two week holiday to the TT back in 1973, they never missed a beat and were the only two we saw over there. I eventually sold them to a collector, and to this day regret it, I would love to have one now, and at 74 years old now I still remember every nut and bold of the little beauties

Memories come flooding back. I purchased an RT200 registered as XLB349 from Pride and Clarke in 1959 for the princely sum of £125!
There was no comparison in build quality with the BSA bantam or Fanny Barnet. The DKW was far superior in quality and performance. The only problem I ever had was plug oiling but that may have been because the original Bosch plug was too expensive to replace and I went for a cheaper alternative!
The example in the picture looks better than new.
Wish I still had mine!
