Great foto! Mijn great grandfather, J. van der Pijl, raced a bike just like this one at the Dutch Grandprix (TT) in Assen in 1928 (finishing in 6th place)! I have some pics from back then and it&#039;s nice to see they are still around. As a matter of fact, I&#039;m looking to buy one of these back into the family but can&#039;t find anyone who want&#039;s to sell his (can&#039;t blame &#039;m). 
Please sent me some more foto&#039;s if possible and if/when this one ever comes up for sale, please remember me &#039;cause I&#039;m more than interested!
