I borrowed one of these at an Isle of Man Rally in the 1970′s and was so impressed that I restored the one you see here. I still have it. In common with other sizes in the Raleigh range it has an 88mm stroke which, for it’s small capacity, gives it Long Stroke characteristics. J.D.

Had only just passed my test a couple of months before, but am very fond of this little bike. Its just gorgeous and full of character and how lucky was I to be allowed to ride it!
