Welcome to the sale of my xj1100.Imported from Colorado USA and registered by myself in 2023.Similar to the xs1100 imported to the UK with a few striking differences. It’s a cruiser and its big!. Shaft drive from a inline four cylinder engine using the Yamaha induction control system or “YICS”. The bike has covered less than 10,000 miles in 43years.The only modifications are the Vetter windjammer screen and panniers that came with the bike added by the original owner from new. I have changed the brake lines to stainless braided in the interest of safety as it weighs 560+ pounds. The brakes are linked. I’m selling because of it’s size. At 72yrs I find it difficult to manoeuvre. Please feel free to contact me me for further information.

1st registerted 01/12/98 aquirered 16/02/02 with 12k+ miles.
Current mileage 70434, on sorn 01/11/15 due to health issues.
Both tyres are good, chain/sprokets etc also good. Pads/discs
good and Hel hoses are fitted through out, inc clutch.
All head/wheel/swing arm bearings have been replaced at least once as has the cam chain adjuster. Fork leg bushes etc were replaced aprox 2009. Clutch has never needed work.
The original rad was replaced around 2010 due to corrosion, the stat + rad cap were replaced 2024 with new anti freeze.
K&N air filter and Scott Oiler fitted also Baglux tank harness. The reg/rec was replaced about 2011.
Double bubble screen (original inc), adj levers (originals inc), rear rack, through end cans (originals inc) replaced down pipes/collector s/steel (after market), rear indicators (originals inc), there are a few marks on the body work but nothing serious, one corner of the front fairing around the screen has at some stage (B4me) been broken but has never caused any concern, some fairing fixing have been replaced due to originals failing, there is a small tear on seat pillion section. A new gel type battery is included. Full set of keys, no keys have ever been cut for this bike. DataTag paper work inc if relevent.
The bike has been run up 3 to 4 times a year to operating temperature and has never failed to start.
The full carb bank was replaced around 2006, the issue leading to this is a long story and will be revealed to any
serious buyer.
There is a set of Givi soft panniers and a generic tail pack, a Baglux touring tank bag and a day tank bag up for grabs, along with items of clothing + Honda manual copy.
Thank you for taking the time to read this message

PRICE DROP TO £2995.00
Beautiful old girl this, it looks and rides like a new bike as only covered just over 500 kilometres, this is absolutely genuine, it was bought by my friend from new to use on his farm but he didn’t use it and just used his quads instead, its been dry stored for years and was last taxed in 2008, VERY VERY HARD to find one like this anywhere
all original except for the mirrors as I fitted them because the originals have been mislaid, ts not even run in yet, I fitted a new battery and it started straight away and runs like a dream very smooth and quiet, everything works as it should and has all the toolkit etc, the tyres are still like new and the rims and hubs are as new as well,
check the pics out and you’ll see what I mean its a cracker.
I’ve got the original receipt when purchased new from High Peaks Motorcycles
it is an import, I’m not really sure what this means as they’re all imports aren’t they,
anyway check this lovely old thing out, I’m only selling it as it’s caused me massive problems at home and it needs to go to a new home.

I’VE HAD QUITE A FEW LOOKERS AT MY BIKE IS IT TOO EXSPENSIVE ?
I’VE DROPPED THE PRICE AND I AM OPEN TO NEAR OFFERS AS THIS HAS TO GO
I FORGOT TO SAY THAT THIS HAS A FULL MOT AND IT FIEW THROUGH
Kind Regards
Dave

It is just getting in the way in my garage now. As you can see from the photos it looks like it has just come out of the dealers showroom. I bought a new Big One exhaust system last month, but I have the orginial exhaust to go with the bike. Please get in touch if you require any more information on the DT.
