Kop hill Climb commemorative Run 2009
Jun 11th, 2009, 10:52am

Just thought you might like to know that the "once" famous Kop hill climb is due to be run again this year on 26th and 27th September in Princes Risborough. Details are on the website kophillclimb.org.uk.

Vintage bikes and cars will be taking part. Should be quite a spectacle.

Regards

Neil

I went to this on the Saturday and it was very good. Considering it was the first for a very long time it was well organised. There were plenty of classics one of which last rode the hill in 1922. When the vehicles aren't on the hill they are parked in the adjoining playing fields for the spectators to study. Next year should be even better as i'm sure it will be even better advertised. Thanks to Paxman I had a very good day out.

In fact i live only 100 yards away and spent all day Saturday and Sunday there.

I Invited a load of mates and they all had a great time.

Glad you enjoyed it Searchguru. Did you get to see the Bugati Veyron?

Yes I did. Very fast but far too quiet and it's far too wide to get past another one on our roads. Good job they are so expensive otherwise the country would be gridlocked. There was some truly classic machinery there and that thingy Jay Kay.
