Hi Nigel, This was the first time that I had tried to sell a bike and I was looking on the internet checking the price I might get for it. I fed the words “classic bike” into Google and this site was top of the list. I intended to place an advert in a national magazine but was put off by form filling and getting a photo printed, at the end the ad would only run for one or two issues. All I needed to on this site was to send an e-mail and attach a picture (I had just been shown how to do this). My advert appeared on the site next time I looked. After some enquiries I realised that I was asking too much, another e-mail and the advert was adjusted for me (easy). The advert has now attracted a buyer and I didn’t have to advertise anywhere else, I will recommend it to others. Mick (Staffordshire)

Hi Nigel, Thanks for posting my (now former) Bultaco Metralla for sale on www.vintagebike.co.uk. It is rather an unusual bike with a limited following, but I seemed to have reached enough of them to have not only found a buyer in fairly short order. Otherwise the site is a terrific resource for those with a penchant for interesting old motorbikes. You do a terrific job of keeping it up-dated so there&undefined;s something new there quite often. Came across the Vintage bike web site and sent Nigel an E-mail asking him if he included bikes in the USA and told him about the T 110 and included a picture. The next thing I know it is on the site and two weeks after that it sold for the full asking price. I had several other calls. This site is viewed by a lot more people than you might think and Nigel does a right smart job with it.
