Description:
Fabulous example of this most popular machine the BSA 650cc "Gold "Flash" that appears to have had a very sheltered life but never the less was completely restored by the last owner (ex motorcycle mechanic) to a good high original standard as seen in the photos
The extensive work included a re-paint of all cycle parts (carried out by Paintwork Express), all chrome re-plated or renewed, powder coating the hubs and rebuilding the wheels with new rims and stainless spokes
The engine was striped with the bottom end still showing as standard then re-built with all new parts where required,.These included new valves and guides, new camshaft and followers, dynamo conversion (SRM Engineering), new big-end bearings, new +20 Hepolite 7.25:1 piston and rings, and an inline oil filter
The gearbox received the same treatment fully striped with new parts and bearings as required. Other new parts fitted include the exhaust pipes and silencers; handlebars and controls, cables, all of the electrics, wiring loom, switches, gel battery with electronic voltage regulator) not forgetting the smiths Chronometric speedo that has been fully reconditioned
On one last note almost all of the fastenings are stainless steel the bike was completed late last year and has covered very few miles since, fully serviced with all fresh oils Mot and taxed Ready for immediate use. (Delivery Arranged Home or Overseas if required please ask) |
