Description:
Widely recognised as one of the most desirable of all factory built cafe' racers' The Rocket Gold Star arrived in 1962 it was largely a combination of- mainly - Gold Star cycle parts and the A10 Super Rocket twin-cylinder engine being the last of the much loved pre-units, and was offered with a host of options relating to controls and equipment before the lament at the end of 1963 when around 1800 had left the factory

This stunning fully restored example has been painstakingly recreated as above with very careful attention to detail thus is fitted the correct high-compression A10 Rocket engine with spitfire cambs and the more prefered Triumph clutch all breathing through a large monobloc carburettor

The frame has the correct RGS rear swinging arm with rear set foot rest lugs, wheels are laced in lovely period alloy rims, crinkle hub to rear and boasts the famous 190 brake on the front. All chrome has been re-plated nice touch being the correct arrow head rear mudguard stays, RGS proper clip-ons with ball end levers, Lucas head-light and switch, SRM two-way progressive front fork springs, with lots of stainless steel nuts and bolts used throught the restoration.
So there you have it one superbly restored BSA Rocket Gold Star. ( Delivery can be arranged to your home or shipped overseas please ask)
