HONDA VFR800 VTEC
An outstanding example of this legendary rapid sports/tourer.
Purchased brand new from Dobles and fitted with a complete genuine Honda, matching red, lockable luggage system. The luggage system comprises of rack, top box and panniers plus extremely rare weatherproof inner bags with carry/shoulder straps finished with embroidered Honda logo. The panniers/top box are simply locked on to the motorcycle and on arrival at your destination, you then simply unfasten interior retaining straps, remove inner bags whilst the panniers/top box remain locked on to the motorcycle. Therefore enabling you to walk confidently into the hotel foyer safe in the knowledge that you're not dripping wet, dirty motorcycle luggage all over the expensive carpets!
This well cared for machine is always garaged and currently has 28,000 miles on the speedo and boasts a full service history with the next service due at 32,000 miles. K & N Air and oil filters are also fitted. The MOT is due on 23rd March 09 and the RFL expires on 31st August 08.
In outstanding condition as demonstrated by attached pictures but isn't absolutely perfect as it has the following issues which are easily rectified: -
1.) Paint flaking from luggage rack so requires powder coating.
2.) Rear wheel has one or two paint blisters.
3.) Left side pannier has slight scuff mark on lower edge which occurred when motorcycle rolled off side stand.
A truly phenominal motorcycle that always draws crowds of intelligent, knowledgeable enthusiasts who are fully aware of it's development and successful racing heritage who stop to make sure that you know exactly what you're riding. Look out for miserable, hunched over, hands in pockets types who shuffle past grumbling jealously pretending not to care but deep down they know it's just fantabulous!
Sale includes an owners manual together with passenger grab rail kit plus 6 spare K & N oil filters.
Overall, an amazing motorcycle that can be ridden away by new owner.
