1981 Yamaha Maxim 650cc |

| Many
thanks to Brandon Stovold of South Africa for sending in this picture. It
is a 1981 Yamaha 650 special, a 4 cylinder machine unlike the XS650. In
South Africa it was distributed under the title of Yamaha 650 Special, however
in Europe and America it is called a 650 Maxim. Brandon has totoally stripped
and restored this bike and is pleased to say that it is used everyday.
They are not very common in South Africa and it is difficult to get spare
parts.
