1934 Velocette KTT Mk V

A fine Velo, forming part of the "100 Years of Velocette" display at the 2005 Goodwood Revival meeting. Only 33 of the 348cc Mk V models were produced in one year.  This one was exported to New Zealand, returned to the UK in the 1950's and still has its original frame, engine and gearbox.

Thanks to Frank Allinson for the second pair of pictures - he early one is of Arthur Bradley, a New Zealand rider, at the 1935 TT. and the second is at Mallory Park in 2007. The bike was converted to swinging arm rear suspension by McCandless in the 50s but Frank has no information from 1935 until this time.
