A 1979 Triumph Bonneville T140E.  Registered in 1978 this model was something of a crossover from the old to the new. The painted mudguards of the previous model were swapped for chrome ones, it was the last year that the rear brake was under the swingarm, it was moved up to keep it out of the muck. Amal mark 2s were fitted side by side. UK spec bars and fork gaiters were fitted alongside the US spec chrome mudguards and the gold paintwork though rarer that the two tone brown was also UK spec.
